 ¹ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Matthew 24:25: ²⁵ See, I have told you ahead of time.

Isaiah 40:8: ⁸ The grass withers and the flowers fall,
   but the word of our God endures forever.”

1 Peter 1:25:
 ²⁵ but the word of the Lord endures forever.”
   And this is the word that was preached to you.

Psalm 148:6: ⁶ and he established them for ever and ever—
   he issued a decree that will never pass away

1. God's word is eternal and absolute

Joshua 1:8: ⁸ Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

*Meditate and do it day and night  
*Nowadays, people define prosperity in power (Not in a worldly way)
*Obey and read the word of God
*Follow the standard of God and not the standard of the world
*Foundation be rooted in the Word of God

2. God's word has authority

Psalm 119:91: ⁹¹ Your laws endure to this day,
   for all things serve you.

Hebrews 4:12: ¹² For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5: ³ For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. ⁴ The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. ⁵ We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

*The word of God has power

*We can use the word of God when we have spiritual warfair

5 different strongholds
1. Fear
2. Generational
3. Mind
4. Traditional
5. Intimidation
6. Pride

*Break through prayer, conviction in your heart and the word of God can BREAK these strongholds

*God wants o give us victory over our strongholds

3. God's word is life giving
Romans 15:4: ⁴ For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.

*God's grace is always there

Isaiah 40:28-31:
²⁸ Do you not know?
   Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
   the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
   and his understanding no one can fathom.
²⁹ He gives strength to the weary
   and increases the power of the weak.
³⁰ Even youths grow tired and weary,
   and young men stumble and fall;
³¹ but those who hope in the LORD
   will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
   they will run and not grow weary,
   they will walk and not be faint.

*We should be convince by the power of God
